Thread: Cape Fear

is anyone fishing the Cape Fear from Jordan down to Lillington? Too many wake boats and lice on Harris and upper Cape Fear is just 5 minutes farther. I've been a few times and always caught a few, but most were small and they were scattered. I have wondered if the bridges at Lillington held anything...

Yes, there is all manner of fishing to be done on the Cape Fear River. I have lived here and fished the Cape Fear since 1970 and have spent much time catching catfish, hybrid bass, largemouth bass, crappie, and a great variety of junk fish for the pure ole fun of it. The back side of Jordan Dam is just such a great place to fish for multiple species depending upon time of year.
