How about the restaurant at the ramp or Tamarac across the road?

Me and the wife are planning on fishing. The restaurant right there is much better food than the marina in my opinion. It also has lots of parking where you can back the boat trailer right off the pavement on the grass.

The restaurant at the ramp is pretty doggone good. Fairly reasonable prices too.

Only a few days left until the border war. This year the event will be held on N.C. water. Hopingto get a good turnout for this. It will be held Sept. 29 at the public ramp on Bringles Ferry Rd. We will meet in the upper parking lot for sign in. Please be there for sign in by 6:45. That way we can blast off by 7:00. If not signed in then your catch wont count towards the Clash trophy. If an emergency on the road comes in we will consider the circumstance on weighing in. (Flat tire breakdown, or accident type thing.). Any CDC member and family ,also friends can participate in this. You must have any license or permit required by N.C. D.N.R. Also every one on your boat will have a PFD. We will check livewells and PFD at sign in. Splash time will be 7:00 a.m. Weigh in will be 1:30. You must be at the ramp or on the trailer by 1:00. If there is a line to load you will be allowed to weigh . Total number of fish weighed will be set at sign in. It will depend on the number of crews from each state. There will be an individual big crappie weigh in also. And just maybe a last place award for the lucky last placed finisher !.As always this is a family event so please act accordingly. Hope to see kids coming out. If you plan to attend lets get a list started so we have an idea of who to look for at sign in. We will ask for a contact number to be used only if you are not back at the ramp on time. Don't want anybody lost or broke down on the lake. This is all for fun and bragging rights. We hope to see you out there. If you never fished this lake or any of our events just let us know and we will get someone to point you in the right direction to find fish. Ask questions before we splash . Lets go fishin and see if S.C. can bring home the gold for the 5th time !

The Clash is a just for fun between boats from NC vs SC. We determine how many fish per state before we put boats in based on how many show up. We usually do heaviest 5 and big fish per boat also. No entry fee, as many people you can bring!

Great question crappie skinner. As turkeyfoot said we will decide at sign in. Thats why I am asking folks to be there by 6:30. Lot of info will come out at the prefish meeting. Thanks for your interest. Hope to see ya there.

Hope everyone is o.k. after this weather. We still gonna try to have our yearly Clash on 29th. Sept. We will be at Bringle Ferry public ramp. It is across the road from Tammarac landing. Maybe a good day fishing will take away some of the strees folks are under. Meeting up for sign in bout 6:00 a.m. Hope to have everyone signed up by 6:45. I would like to splash on time for a change. From what I hear the S.C. crowd is comin for the prize. An unofficial count has 9 teams headin your way. They aint skeered ! Hope N.C. has a good turnout. We need some competition for a change ! We keeping up with the water levels and changes. Keep check on this post for any updates. But as of now we coming to get the Plague back home. Look close. Yes that is 4-1 in favor of those Lappers.
