Is that a good area that’s easily reached by kayak?

if i was restricted to a tiny boat or yak id check out all the city lakes, i grew up fishing out of a 12’ jon boat and the fishing can be spectacular, i miss that boat and the places i used to fish in it, made a ton of memories in that ol boat, times were simpler then too, a 3 lb crappie is a 3lb crappie doesnt matter if she came outta grenada or deepriver, or you caught her in a ranger or a ol tin leaky boat

Last few times I went to Harris the bite was so slow I lost the motivation to fight the heat and go back, so haven't been in a few weeks. Fish are there, marked plenty on my fish finder. There is a guide that goes almost daily and fishes with live shad and he's still catching plenty of fish. You never know until you go!
