It has been down for quite some time now and no one seems to know when it will reopen. Tourists are picking up on the lake and these tournaments are making it impossible to launch at Crosspoint some mornings, especially the weekend.

A month ago when we had a tournament on Harris the concrete ramps had been poured and the docks in place. The fishing pier looked finished as well. They were hauling in rock for the parking lot and I suppose about all they had to do was pave it. Should be open fairly soon.

Blewett, and Lilly's Bridge at Tillery have been down, Really sucked to drive to both just to find signs across the road. When we got to Tillery, they were having a bass tournament, hardest time finding a parking spot I have ever experienced.

Tourists? Have you seen all the subdivisions going in? Google Map the Fuquay, Apex, Cary areas and look at the subdivions going in. And that's old data. It won't be long before you'll be able to walk across the lake on the boat decks!

When I say tourists, I mean anyone who is not fishing on the lake. Wake boarders, tubers or anything of the like. Much why I get there before sunrise and gone well before lunch to avoid crowds. That is what I mean by tourists. Harris is much too small for the number of people moving into Holly Springs/Fuquay area. More would use Jordan, but the water is rough in the main part and some areas have tons of debris just below the water.

I was there last Saturday, put in before daylight and didn't have to wait. Left around 10:30 and I'm not sure there was a parking space left, and to top that off, on the way home I must have passed 15 trucks pulling boats heading that way. Boy was I glad I was out of there.
