I did okay in Swift Island Creek (24/27 boat ramp), and Mountain Creek last Sat. I was slow trolling/drifting a few tube jigs. I didn't slay 'em, but caught 12 or 13. Nothing huge, the biggest one was right at 1 lb., but fun all the same. I also saw some people catching some crappie in Jacob's creek, but I couldn't get anything going in there. In Swift island, I was catching them (and other people were, too) drifting the main creek - over 23-25 ft of water. In Mountain creek they were holding in 10-13 ft. of water a little further in, where it bends around. Hope this helps.
I did ok on the Uhwarrie River by the last marker buoy. The guy right next to me slayed them.
i fished tillery the last two afternoons and only caught a couple each day. did catch one thursday shallow that was a pound and a half. has anyone had any success floating minnows around docks?
Hey Bkolback, How were you and the other guy cathing them in the Uhwarrie? Trolling or casting- I,m headed down a couple of days next week. Thanks, LarryOriginally Posted by bkolback
