Thread: A BIG THANK YOU!!

Our thoughts and prayers continue with you and your family, Jan.

In difficult times like this we must always remember that the sorrow of the faithful should not be that of permanent loss, but the tender sense of sadness that comes in saying good-bye for now to a very special person who we will all surely miss. It will be all of those things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter-- the legacy of your "precious fisherman" that will always live on inside of you. And although we know it's been hard for you, your family and his huge circle of friends; it will surely be those thoughts and memories (the blessings) of all of those things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.

May today's sorrow and heavy hearts give way to the peace and comfort of God's love. Amen

Jan, Special K's words were well stated. We surely will miss Bill, your Precious Fisherman but deeply rooted in our hearts, Gilby has won the ultimate prize in standing before JESUS and hearing the words...well done thy good and faithful servant. We who are left here is this calamity of what we somehow call sanity in the wicked miserable world are the losers. Through the pain of loss of a soul mate, fishing buddy and a friend to all no one would want to call him back from the HILLS OF GLORY...A CITY PREPARED BY GOD HIMSELF FOR HIS FAMILY. This thought always gets me through the pain of loosing a loved one. May you be comforted and tightly wrapped in the arms of JESUS until the pain subsides. Jan, I know your going through a lot but hang in there and lean on your friends when you need to.
