    Default Tillery 4/3

Ron and I fished from 9:00 to 2:00 today. We put the minnows down and went to trolling jigs. Tillery is still somewhat stained compared to Badin and Tuckertown. We picked up 12 keepers including 1 around 2 lbs. Most of the others were 10/11 inch fish. Water temp was 58. Most were caught on Acid Rain and Wally Worlds. We picked up a couple shooting docks as well. Had at least 15/20 throw backs. They quit hitting near noon trolling. Getting out earlier would have helped. The fish are full of eggs but they don't look mature enough yet, may be a good sign we still have several weeks before they spawn out.
I only fish the two best days of the year, when its raining and when its not!

I hit Tillery in the afternoon on the 4-3. Starting earlier may have helped. It was not good looked shallow and deep but could not find them. A lot of boats out crappie fishing but did not see anyone catching. Put the lights out for about 3 hours and never had any minnow activate. WT 62 stained. All in all had 6 keepers.
