    Default high rock 12/19

arrived at lake and were preparing to launch when we heard a call for help.ran over to find a older fellow had sliped on the frosted dock and fallen in the lake all his friends could do was hold him up. we fished him out and got him in his truck to warm. saw him later on fishing and he semed to be fine.fished from 7:30 till 3:00 water temp 52 sunny and warm. fished brush and docks with best luck on shallow brush. from 3 to 9 fow. three of us caught 152 crappie. lots of small fish but we managed to keep a few nice fish. several 12 to 13 inch fish and one 15 inch 2.1 pound slab. all on jigs. color wasnt a factor but presentation had to be slow to almost still. found lots of brush we never knew was there. if you go be careful still lots of shallow spots. and hope all have a blessed and MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Thanks for the report and for lending a helping hand. Too many people would have just ignored the need.

That's what you get for helping that man out. If only more people were like that , everything would be alot better. I'm sure you all reacll the story a few years back about the boater at Tamarac who was in distress , and someone gave him a tow for about 100 yards , then purposely released the rope.

We should always take time to help someone in need, even if its just a flat tire or helping another boater load or launch their boat. we never know when it will be us on the needing end. In this case things could have gone really bad, had we been a few minutes later.

Cdunst and I were there last friday the 14th and the docks were covered in frost then. Since the water is low you have to walk down hill on them which makes
them even more dangerous. Be careful out there!
Early to bed…early to rise…fish all day…make up lies.
