    Default Hky before the rain

Went out on Hky today before the rains set in, could not get out before today because of finally gettin some work to do that pays the bills, fishing trips, bait, tackle, etc... Fished around the docks looking for some with brush, and when I found it, I found a crappie. Sometimes might get a bluegill, a rockbass, 2lb green carp, or a 4lb catfish. Did not know what to expect, but if it had brush,it had a fish. Water depth was 8-15ft, water temp 72deg, fish were caught on jigs and minnows. Color of choice was red/chartruse, crappie and others. Wound up with 6 10"-12" crappie, and a good mess of fish to give to my friends, who like other fish than crappie.
Difference between day and night: Day= one rod, one jig/Night= Many rods & a bucket full of minners

Very nice job at getting a few before getting soaked. We've definitely had quite a fair share of rain. the gauge out on the deck is showing close to 4 inches so far off this system.
