went to pond in Bath ny today and between the rain storms the gulp leeches were the hot ticket again today. Had respooled 2 ultra light reels with high vis 6 lb test and had some pretty bad line twists at first. Going to Little lake in Odessa tomorrow so will let most of line out while going slowly down the lake to get the twist out. If the lake isn't too busy. Going later in the morning also cause it is supposed to get Chilly tonight.

Tried to fish Little lake in Odessa this morning but when I got to the Launch the wind was howling and big whitecaps crashing the lake. Never even took the boat off the trailer. Too fat/old to deal with that in jon boat. Saw 2 bigger/longer boats who were struggleling and a canoe came in from the lake to quit before it got worse. Went to state pond in Coopers Plains and the gulp leeches were the hot ticket again today. Lot of 10 inch gils that just pounded those leeches, quit just in time for a brief but heavy shower.
