    Default Question

    Hello,
While I am not new to this site I am new to fishing New York.. My family recently moved to the Fort Drum area and I have no boat but me and the kids like to fish for crappie, bass and bluegill, Where can we go fishing that has good shore fishing. I have two kids, both are under 10. I think Lake Ontario while beautiful, maybe a little to big for us to find a spot to fish on the shore. I do not mind walking and my as long as the it is legal to fish I can go. Drive time, I would like to stay around 45 min or less from the Fort Drum area. Thanks for any help.

Thought I replyed yesterday, round 2 Try Fairhaven State Park on Lake Ontairio, lots of bank fishing around boat launch and fishing piers. Once you learn area lots of other spots to fish also.
