Default Started out tough but got good late afternoon

Water temperature rose ot 71 degrees from the bright sun, but the wind was calm for most of the day:

The bite was dead until I finally found fish in one area and then caught 30 in a short time on different lure designs including this 12" crappie:

Gills bit hybrid soft plastics - as usual when I could find fish:

Even caught a decent crappie on a Risto Rap crankbait in 18' of water:

...and some sunfish on this unknown crankbait:

A few small bass were also caught:

Thanks. I figure the more lure types and rigs I catch fish on, the more options for catching fish regardless the species that anyone can see. I would never have thought I could catch crappie, perch and catfish on crankbaits but pictures don't lie. Variety is the spice of fishing.

(Funny you checking out NY forum. Few do including myself.)
