    Default good fishing

Been in up-state NY for almost a month, lots of rain and one morning it was 43`. Motor issue at first but think I have it figured out, mainly have not used this boat.motor in 2 years or so and it wasn't getting fuel. But bank fishing has been good. All on wax worms, ice jigs and slip bobbers. Little lake, Odessa Montour, limit of gils, lots of 8 inch crappies. Had the motor issues there so will go back again soon. Goodhue lake, Addison Ny, 3-4 times lots of gils and some nice perch. Erwin state pond, lots of gils, a few bass and 2-3 really nice perch. This pond though, the fish are all loaded with the little yellow grubs and even though I cut them out, don't fish for dinner there very often. County pond outside of Bath NY, limited several times of big for NY 8-9 inch gils, a few perch. Going to Waneta/Lamoka Monday to fish with a long time friend so should be a weekly thing all summer. So good to be here for the summer and the wife is out of town for 2 weeks so fishing every week day. Because of the jet skiers/boat traffic I usually stay away from the Lakes on the weekends, Does any one else feel that way? Ediquite ,SP. seems to go out the window!

We have a local lake and is very hard to fish during summer months with vacationers. Jet skis and ski boats seems like they like to get very close to you so you can see them. I hold off til after Labor Day and back to school the lake quiets down.
