    Fished 4-15 and picked up a few nice Perch but not a single crappie yet--Fished 10;30 to 2;00

    My fish finder wasnt working but shallow about 4-6 feet --most caught on sliders --new fish finder tonite !!!

    Fished 4/23--water was merky and 52.7 degrees---fished 2 to 20 feet and used plastics and live minnows---caught 1 perch on plastic and 5 on Minnows--sunny day didnt start till about 11.00 am due to 28 degrees last nite !!!

    4/29 water temp up to 60 degrees--caught some Perch-gills and 5 keeper crappie !! not a lot of action but they are starting to hit--fished 5 to 8 feet mostly sliders---slow troll 1/2 mph and some sitting still---got rained out about 11:00 but at least they are starting to hit------3 male and 2 female crappie--the females were full of eggs the perch are pretty much spawned out 1 had eggs

    Thanks, Haven't been out, hoping to Get a Little time in the water purchased new hummingbird helix nine side imaging depth finders want to try them out. Going to black lake May 11-13 try to get some Crappie. I have about a dozen buddies going also. I did have a buddy went out today to Cayuga a got some real nice perch, five or six crappies and a landlocked salmon. Call all the fish in about 12 feet of water. He has been hitting Cayuga every weekend but Easter and done really well every day. Leaving with 50 nice perch.

    Suppose to warm up some this week and i have been busy at the shop but my brother wants to hit it mid week--we'll see if i can get away !!!!! We are headed to musky over memorial weekend so hope they are biting up north !!!

    Got out saturday at about 6:30 am--65 degrees and pretty clear--water was murkey and 74 degrees--got a few nice crappie--lots of gills and pickerel--a few Large mouth--good day but not great---Female crappie still had eggs !!!!!

    Thanks for posting a report. Sounds like you did ok. What is up with the crappie still with eggs. This is not the first I heard of them with eggs still. It has to be this up and down weather. Got 46 degrees here this morning brrrrrr.
