If you never have done so, might try Vincentown lake dam or Kirby's Mill (lake cotoxen), both have waterfalls.

Seems like this thread has died but I'll add to it anyway. I live in Port Republic (Atlantic County) but fish Lake Lenape in Mays Landing. Seems like a fair number of crappie along with a sizable population of bass and Pickerel there. I just got a fishing Kayak this summer so we'll see what I can boat.

Sounds good. Fishing all freshwater lakes and ponds has been ok at best since most have green grass and algea and all fish reeled in have nice big beards on them from the grass. way too dry conditions with no rain in a month or so. I have caught some nice bass and cats but many sunnies.
Good luck with that kayak and watch for them sharks lol.

Hey NJ ? Just trying to breathe a little life back into this thread! This is my first post on this site, so you might say I'm fishing for a reply from fellow Jersey Crappie Anglers! I just purchased a Kayak a few weeks back and am anxious to try it out if only the weather would warm up a little more. Anyone else itching to get out there besides me? Let me know !
