Jeremy, I hadn't any doubt that when you purchased your new home that it wouldn't take you long to turn it into a utopia. Next time I am in Durham visiting my sister I will plan to visit with you and see it all as it is laid out.

Congratulations on a job well done!

    Kellog

PS: I think I saw some room for some Collards in your garden.

Nice Work Jeremy. Just think of all the fishing you could have been doing.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I really like the Muhlenbergia capillaris in a mass planting in the fall. The Bristol Bog is a smart and attractive design element for problem drainage areas. I might have to borrow that concept with your permission. Very nice work!

Hey longline...have at it! Both downspouts on the back of the house drain into it. I filled it w/ 50-50 sand peat and I've got pitcher plants and a couple other bog/wetland plants growing. Surrounding it is a berm made of the excavated sand. There are several desert/dry plants growing on it. I'm happy to answer any questions!

the big project this November was to plant these 3000 crocus bulbs into the front lawn. I've eaither done something really cool...or irreversibly awful. Either way, it will be seen from space.
