Default Travel Nursing where to fish?

Guys i have been looking into Travel nursing some. I have found some agencies that have some travel nursing opportunities there in Montana. I love to Crappie fish. Was wondering which part of Montana I should be looking at to choose a work place for 16 weeks and crappie fish 4 days a week! I am in the very beginning of this searching phase but figured you guys could narrow my search alot! Any info is much appreciated! I would like to be somewhat close to yellowstone as well if possible. Would like to take my son and wife on adventures on my off days.

Thankyou for the help whiptail! I am signed up with several different agencies. There are literally 100's of assignments scattered across Montana. I was going to choose my job assignment in the general area of the best fishing!

After all.......that is what life is about right! FISHING!!!!!!

    LowePro,
Looks like the crappie have been run down to Mississippi by the trout. I will be spending 5 months in Montana and Wyoming this year and I wanted to know also. The moderator of this section either got lost or he can't find any crappie in Montana. Wyoming doesn't even have a section. Guess I will be learning to catch trout.

Man I hear there are tons of crappie around these areas! I also hear they use em for catfish bait, like they are not considered quality fish up there! They dont know what they are missing!!!!! Hahahahaha. Thats ok, we will have to go up there and have it all to ourselves. Man I just dont even know where to start. Montana is HUGE!

Thanks for the info, LowePro. I read in the travel guide that the Black Hills of South Dakota are full of crappie. That's my first stop after a week of fishing in Oklahoma. That gave hope for Montana and Wyoming.

I guess if you are taking a pricey fishing trip with a full complement of top level fly fishing gear and paying big bucks for a personal guide, you have to turn up your nose at a lowly panfish. Crappie don't have any snob appeal and those of us who love to eat them, don't care what they're missing.

Thank you for finding and sending the information. Appreciate it.
