    Default Fall Crappie @ smithville

Went out today in the cool weather hoping for some action with my jigs.
Hit all spots. Fish were there but not one hit. Not even under the bridge. WTH man?

I was out Monday night when the could front hit. They were going crazy before it hit. Still brought some in after. Except my fish measuring device doesn't float and I didn't have a back up. This fall has been fantastic fishing for me. Can't wait to get back out there.

Dropping jigs down to the brush piles. Sometimes we hold them still. Other times it's drop down and a slow retrieve. Others it's drop it down. Let it sit, then lower some more and they grab it on the drop. I'm just using tube jigs.
