Default 2015 Truman Lake Shootout, thoughts and opinions

Trying to make a decision on if I am going to put this tournament on again. I know everyone that fished it last year said they really enjoyed it, but it was not full last year. I do not want to put it on again unless I have a good idea that it will fill up. I believe that if I do have it this year I am going to do a 100% payback so I can pay two more spots. I would like to do it either April/May or late fall. Any comments are much appreciated.

Crappie guys don't fish tournaments.........and the ones that do, are stuck in there ways. New format, freaked them out a little-

Good luck (of course I will fish it), I will do anything to help promote the wonderful world of crappie fishing!

Love the format, hard for me personally in spring or July due to work but may be better for others. Appreciate all your efforts in this and CDC

You might want to "briefly" explain the format for those of us who don't know what is being referred to.

    Format:

16 teams. Think sweet 16 in basketball. Fish heads up against 1 team for (4 hours). Winning team advances to next round losing team goes home.

It it was a lot of fun and very challenging knowing you only have 4 hours to figure them out. Makes evey bite count, every missed fish sting a little more. And a lot more pressure when your fishing in the money round. (Win get a check, lose go home empty. Yea I know all tournaments are like that. But the final round last years was $800 dollar difference. That's 200 an hour to fish

I've decided that I am going to do this tournament again. We are going to try and do a late fall date. Will post more details on down the road.
