WELL I KNOW TO SET THE HOOK GUYS BUT WHAT I WAS WONDERING IS IF THE FISH ARE DOING THAT WHAT DOES IT MEAN. I GUESS I NEED TO CALL MY UNCLE WHO LIVES UP ON TRUMAN. HE IS ONE OF THOSE GUYS WHO GOES ALOT ON THE OLD TYPE SIGNS. IF THE FISH ARE DOING THIS OR THAT THEN ITS GOING TO RAIN OR FLOOD. THE STUFF HE COMES UP WITH IS KIND OF WEIRD BUT HE IS USUALLY CORRECT.
Bugs exceeded the shock capacity of his knots two times when we were fishing. Good line makes all the difference.
I've said it before Bugs and TAB are the two fishermen that when they set the hook the tip of the rod breaks the sound barrier.
I agree sometime you have to have patience if they are ticking without taking. After about 20 misses, then try waiting for pressure before setting the hook.
If they are pouncing the bait, then rip some lips.
