    Default Been a rough year

11 months ago I had an ocular stroke, went blind for a day, and still have limited vision in left eye. oh well, then hurt my back. real bad, so what, then got an upper respetory infection. bad news, then hurt my back even more, oh well, then last week had another stroke this one was a mini stroke, a T.A.I. ? so guess I told you that to tell you this. getting old is for the young . I am fine just real tired. real sore and really miss fishing. Miss Sharon paid the rent on the dock slip so guess she has a notion I will get back to fishing soon. hope so. So now y'all know what ole beagle has been up to. peace y'all.

One or two of those would be enough to bring a lesser man down, but not a tough ol' coot like you.

We're all rootin' for you, even if the Stockton crappie are glad to have this reprieve!

My dad’s uncle was not long for this world. Series of heart attacks and strokes I think. It was always something knocking at his door.
Well that was all 35ish years ago. Since then, not only has he outlived all my grand parents. He worked for TWA for another 10-15 years (like 50 in all), spent most of his weekends at his farms chainsawing and brush hogging and was the babysitter for his grand kids.
He’s got to be well into his 90’s now and still going.

All that to say, your best years may still be ahead of you. Hang in there.
