    Default Helix 10

Ok y'all listen up, you go to buy a new add on to the boat, don't do like I did and not check out every possible problem, make a pre purchase list, check it at the store.
see I was unpacking the new sonar unit, mount made, electrical wire ran for the hook up to control unit. ready to run the transducer wire and mount transducer to trolling motor, Well Low and Behold the transducer is to big for the Minn Kota edge 45, yep fin on the bottom only leaves 5 in of space and transducer need min.9 in. bummer. So, I go to p.v.c. scrap pile, cobble up a separate mount, hinge and rod to drop off the front, next to the trolling motor mount, but out of the way, Now Monday I shall head to the local blacksmith shop and see if they can build me a working mount from alum. or stainless steel. that will be cheaper than buying a new trolling motor, took long enough to save up enough money to buy the 10 Ug. learn from my mistakes.

I don't think so, I must have looked for 4 hours on the net, so I have resolved to just have harmon build me one.
