It's just a little too dangerous to have him out walking freely during turkey season!

I dont have the fool proof but I do have a Lynch box that's as old as the one youre describing. It has called in a few.

have one bought decades ago and still works well. Sadly I was at my turkey woods this year but after my quad bypass don't think it wise to be out in woods with no one around as my hunting partner doesn't go anymore. only concern is something happened truly he would be the only guy in the world who would know where I possibly would be and remembered my wife doesn't have his cell number. that would be inconsiderate. So I was there at daylight drinking coffee and basically birdwatching with my binoc's sitting in my car with heater on as dang it was colllllldddd opening days.

No gobbling where I usually hunted anyway, which is sad as numbers have tumbled over the last few years.

I still have one, I use it on windy days or hunting off the lake. I stop in the middle of the lake before light and hit the box call and go to the nearest bird. It's a blast. lol. literally.
