Just an update from jigfisherx
So I know you have not heard from me in a while and I apologize to all my friends here at CDC. I was diagnosed with Covid on the 14th and have been pretty much out of it for a while (even spent the week on oxygen at home. Yes I was vaccinated but maybe a little careless about masking. I’m pretty sure I would have in the hospital w/o the vaccine. We are finding out that the efficacy is starting to fall off with the Pfizer and I think that is it had a jump start on the others. This Covid is no fun. I have lost 34 pounds in less than 2 weeks. Im see the booster is close to release for a large group of patients and I encourage those eligible patients to get it when they can.
It’s not my intention to step on any toes, but I love you guys and it comes from the heart.
I hope to be back to work next week still taking care of patients vaccinated or not.
If anyone wants to talk about Covid or the vaccine, pm me. I will explain the science to the best of my ability. I don’t feel it’s my job to change minds but I have spent 45 years of my life taking care of patients so please excuse my passion.

Jeff, take care of your self, hopefully Sheryl does not contract it. You are a Great Mentor and Friend to many of us. I know you care about others, possibly to a fault. The ole griz is pushing to get his booster as soon as the Moderna is approved. In our prayers our friend.

Sorry to hear you got the covid bug. I am sure the vaccine helped you Jeff. Hopefully you didn't loose your taste or smell? Glad to hear you are on the mend. With the cooler weather it is a good time to get back to crappie fishing. Take care.

FYI Sheryl and have both had it although she recovered quicker. Mark, lost both taste and smell thus the weight loss. Over 30 pounds so far. Starting to eat a little bit now but definitely not planning on cobbler anytime soon!Originally Posted by LSL Angler
