    Default Transom saver

I have a friend who just bought a brand new boat from bass pro shop with a 50 horse Merc on it. I like to know if anyone knows of any company that makes short shift transom saver for the 50 horse. Thank you

Every transom saver I've ever seen was adjustable and doesn't matter what HP or brand the motor was. Is there some reason a normal transom saver won't fit his motor/trailer combination?

The transom saver we are looking for is not attached to the trailer. It’s about 12” to 18” long

You've got me curious now. If it doesn't lock the motor to the trailer then what does it hook to?

Would think the BP where you purchased it could specify what brand and model is required. You could order on-line or pick up in the store.

I was at the bass pro shop at Springfield and they could not find anything to work. They looked and could not find anything in their catalog.

Kinda disappointing they don’t have anything for their own product.

D26 makes them for the Mercurys. Even the 4 strokes. Only company I found that did for the newer 4 strokes. Pricey but good product

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
Thanks Lene thanked you for this post
