Thread: Spring camp 2021

Looks like I'll be able to make a day trip on Saturday. Boat wont be ready, but I should make it up. Not sure how long I can stay though.

Will be nice to finally meet everyone and put faces and names together. JigfisherX anything I can bring up for Saturday?? I'll be driving up Saturday from Springfield...

Don’t know of anything in particular. Anything from chips to a side or a desert will be fine.

OK, I'll swing by the store on the way and probably pick up a variety of chips. looking forward o this for awhile, Just never know Momma's schedule.

So I have gone through the previous posts. These are some items I don’t see signed up for.

Hot dogs/buns
Buns for pulled pork
Ketchup mustard mayonnaise
Brownies
Large foil pans
Potato slicer
Taters n onions
Large cooler with ice
Bottled water
2-3 gallons of vegetable or canola oil

I will add more if I can think of anything

This is what Sheryl and I are packing

All paper plastic etc that was not already in the shed
Fish cooker (3 burner)
4 tables
Baked beans
3 cobblers for each night
(Taking requests now)
Charcoal
Hand soap
Tartar and cocktail sauce

Is it just me, or does there seem to be less "buzz" around camp this year? I'm expecting a much lower turnout. Like....will we even need to pitch the big community tent??

Just throwin' that out there. I mean....I hope, after Covid ruined 2020 camp, that this year's will be back to normal but not really getting that vibe.
