    Default Folding / Telescoping Net

A few days ago, I hooked into a nice sized Hybrid. 24" with a back as wide as a football. When I went to lip it, the sucker shut its yap and violently shook it's head. BUH BYE FELICA! It made me sick to my stomach seeing it swim off. It would have been nice to boat it and get a picture. So, I'm looking for a solid folding net with a telescoping pole. There are many choices on Amazon, but unless you see it, hold it and feel it... this isn't something I want to order without doing that.

Do any of you have one that is your go to? The telescoping pole can start at 5ft if the net folds over and collapses. I don't know if I need more than a 6 foot net. I do know it needs to fit in my rod locker.

It telescopes but don't fold. I have a EGO S2 Slider I really like. Mainly purchased for bass fishing and usually forget or do not take it when I crappie fish. Hooked a few walleye when I wish I had it. It is a nice net when it there.

Dad and I each bought a couple at bass pro. The nets are the silicone/rubber but the coolest part is that the net frame collapses too so its very easy to locker.
They're relatively inexpensive too <$40 if memory serves.
But how effective is any net if you wait for the whale before attempting to get out a net? Folding / Telescoping Net

I just ordered one from Bass Pro. 6' extend handle with 26" net. A good thread for me.
    Tks
