Thread: Happy Birthday Joedog

Thanks, everyone. Gotta say it was a pretty good one, as birthdays go. Got a phone call from my buddy Bill who offered to take me out to Watkins Mill to dink around with the Livescope some more. (This is the remedial class. We're several grade levels behind most of you!!) Took the short bus out there. Dock was pulled from the water so some interesting acrobatics to launch and load. But Bill was kind enough to let me skunk him again. Though I only caught one plus a dink. And Bill caught a stick, so....that was fun to watch.

Those crappie though!! You'd see the jig drop. You'd watch the fish come right up to it and then nothin. You raise the jig up a foot, and they might follow it up and look at it. And then turn and swim away. Frustrating as hell. Tried different sizes and colors but....I'm thinkin' they wanted live meat.

Well, it was a fun day anyway, with beautiful late fall weather. Thanks for the fun times, Bill! And thanks again for the birthday wishes everyone.
