    I think you must do a software update. I did and mine is new. You need a standard micro SD card, Class 10. 4GB or larger, to 32GB. I can forward instructions if you need them.

    I'm old and don't want to learn new stuff and all this tech stuff just makes your head hurt. does it come with a teenager who can explain all this and make it so? Is why I keep my new lowrance 7i SI in the house and just fish by my sense of smell. But I still seem to whack em so makes me happy.

    Bill, your new unit was being manufactured months ago (probably), before that code upgrade was even available, so...I'm sure it has to be upgraded.

    That's my experience with other stuff, and it's what the guy said at BPS when we went to that thing.

    How do I power it on? Maybe it’s password protected.......1 2 3 4 Never mind got it.

    Actually with all the issues I’ll wait to update it. I need a few years to learn what it does and don’t need any issues. Have enough of my own.
