    Default I Can NEVER Retire.

Being off this week has shown me that. Monday, helped a buddy unload a truck load of 26 pallets of merchandise. Tuesday, built and installed a temporary electrical service on my son's land so they can start his new house. Wednesday mowed 3 acres and fixed stuff around the house. Thursday fishin. Friday cut and split 2 rank of firewood. Thank goodness I go back to work next week. Retirement would kill me!!!

I used to think the same thing, but I have been amazed at how busy I can keep myself --keeping up with the almost endless chores and busy work that I can find for myself.
The only difference now is: I can start and stop whenever I choose and now I can take naps at any time of the day with no one to tell me any different.
Still seem to get a whole lot done... even at my own pace. Trust me, time and age has a way of making retirement far more desirable as you go along.

I couldn't wait till I was old enough to piddle around the house. Now that I am, life is good.

Been retired 16 years. Shortly after I retired I began to wonder how I ever found time to go to work.

The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

I find it is like grandkids way better than waiting for it. Now if people would quit asking if I want to work.

It is all true, my wife and I stay busier after we retired. The good news is that it's all stuff that we want to do. So yes being a member of the geezer club is definitely a good thing. lets go catch a mess.

I stopped working the day I retired! Now if I do something, it’s NOT work!
