    Default Deemed non-essential

Well got the news today, on a 30 day layoff at best. Gonna sting and leave a mark, but can't do nothing about it. But please keep in your prayers the families going thru these tough times that are in the same situation, I've been here before (layoff) and can deal with it. Got plenty of fat critters running around here if needed, country boy can survive!

Prayers are with you and everyone who finds themselves in harms way because of this CURSED economy killing China virus.
Indeed!!! A country boy can and will survive when many won't.

Tracker Marine fired 11% of it's work force yesterday, think about 350 people from seven plants. Worked for Tracker for 10 years, it was the worst ten years of my life.

Dang man. Hang in there. I just got cut back as well but I have enough vacation saved up to carry me into June. Just butchered hogs a couple weeks ago so the freezer is full. Another freezer half full of fish. I just feel sorry for the guys I work with. Some of them are going to struggle.

Your're not non-essential, Kevin. You're too big to fail!

We'll have to share some 4.1% alcohol throat sanitizers....make sure you're keepin' healthy!

Thanks Joe, will have to definitely take you up on that offer. We should be ok here, and well since I can't work and got this time off, what to do? GO FISHING!! Social distant my butt on the lake. Take care everyone and hopefully we can get back to normal soon.

Fishing with your partner you stay a good distance apart and just don't high five when you ketch those bigun's just do the toe tap!! Absolutely nothing wrong with going fishing as you don't interact with anyone but the guy climbing on your boat. Heck if your that concerned drive seperately and no issues or do what I do and fish from the bank or docks.

Praying for all affected by this overblown hysteria. In touch with my doctor DIL in La County who deals exclusively with geriatic patient base and almost NO incidents! relatively few in LA county with 25 Million folks in area and deaths are at a minimum with most having compromised health but not all. They are geared up for war but so far nothing but a skirmish. IF you use common sense measures you will be fine when having to go to store for groceries. swine flu was much worse and I was part of dealing with that and with folks being cautious we got thru that quickly.

BTW I am sharing the wealth by distributing fish to those who can use it my older friends and neighbors. Luckily had boom fall and winter with lots of crappie and trout.

I agree Keith, nothing wrong with going fishing. From what I've seen they are actually encouraging it, Smithville Lake is open along with all walking trails, call ahead and Burton's will bring bait out to your truck, MDC waived fishing permits from Friday to April 15. Need to get the boat on the water anyway to make sure everything is working ok, probably do a little bank fishing also away from everybody. Just me and the fishees
