What's this? just came on here and confused. So is bucksaw resort closing? we cancelling event? What a bunch of Hooey! This is so over blown as to be ridiculous. So few cases and mostly mild cold like symptoms and this is outdoors and over a month away? I've not received nor will i ask for refund. what does being in your own camper or tent out in areas with lots of spacing in between have to do with some outbreak of the Zombie apocalypse?

Heck my daughter in law is LA Doctor with largest group in state and she is geriatric specialist and have very very few cases, no deaths and overall with 24MM folks in county statistically very minor incidents of the severe strain. with the huge homeless camps everywhere there and so many hundreds of thousands of illegals all with poor hygiene she is surprised they arn't over run with cases but are not. Plus HUGE population of chinese, koreans, vietnamese SE asians of all kinds who traveled back and forth in big numbers before travel ban and plenty of time to show symptoms and tiny number of cases? they should be ground zero for this plague and is a nothing burger so far.

Me my Son and Shane are doing it. You are more than welcome to join us. We plan on a base camp somewhere we can beach the boats and throw up the tents.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

We'll our reservations were at the USACE campground, no the resort. Tomorrow I'm going to see if I can get a spot up the hill at the private(not gov) resort.

    Default Spring camp

I think you all know what Sheryl and I think about spring camp. It’s one of the highlights of our year. That being said, this thing scares the crap out of me. I have been a pharmacist for 40 years and love it to this day, but I question myself every day about going in to work. There are a lot of folks out there that don’t get the whole social distancing thing. I’m a hugger and it kills me to not be who I am. Sorry to say we will be there at the next one but not this spring. Maybe we can reevaluate in a couple of months but for not we’re homebody’s.
Bye the way Truman is 9 feet high and rising.

It's always great to see old friends and meet some new ones at camp. With that being said it's not the end of the world if we replan it in the fall or just another date later this year to keep us all safe and healthy.
We can fish through this just not gather in large groups. So if ya see me on the water stop and say hi and I will do the same.
