Love to crappie fish and do more of it but in addition this ADD dude loves to whack some squirrels. So if anyone has a problem with them in area I could hunt like when they make a racket near your deer stand I'll gladly come and thin the herd. Especially if you have a good place to fish as well. Will clean and even cook them for you if you like that as well. Have a couple of older friends who I do this for as they can't get out in woods anymore and love to eat them.

Most of these were older males and they will make a killer squirrel stew later in fall in the slow cooker. Onions, taters and carrots make it goooooddd.

Wish you were closer. I would gladly pay for Ammo, and fishing baits in exchange for some squirrel. With my leg problems its hard to get in the woods to squirrel hunt and I haven't had a good mess of them in years!

Working as a locomotive machinist for Frisco Railway in Springfield, MO. Got sent to Thayer, MO to work for 2 weeks, the machinist working there got kicked by one of his horses. Rode a train down, cab of the lead locomotive. Rolling through Diggins, MO, 60 MPH. Brakeman digs around in his grip, pulls out a quart Mason jar. Says "You like pickled squirrel brains?".

Mike my grandma walker loved her some squirrel brains. First couple I killed I cleaned them way I was shown where you pull down the skin around head front legs and cut it off. tossed it to cats and went inside all proud to present this to my grannie. She got mad and sent me back out to crawl under house and fight the dang cats to get those heads so she could get her brains!
Never tried them but do think about her everytime I clean one and laugh when I toss them out for the cats to clean up.
