A few miles east of Clinton there is usually a sign out as well as I saw one in tightwad and on down the road towards long shoal.... all on Highway 7. you can buy by the truckload.

If you go to the Park website, if I am not mistaken, they actually don't want you to bring firewood to the camp from areas outside the local area. Due to all the insect infestation issues in wood across the Midwest and the south. It is a rule pretty much everywhere. But then you have the locals who know this and tend to charge more for their wood. But I know I have seen signs for firewood around that area.
