    Default Reel questions?

Thinking about getting a 11 or 12ft Sam Heaton super sensitive with rear seat
Wondering what reel would be good
    Open face or under spin?
    Price under 50$
    Any thoughts?

in line ice fishing reel. I put them on our S.H. and really like them .

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it

For crappie fishing is there any other reel besides a Pflueger President?

The B'n'M little mini fly? reel $13 or $14. All you want it something that will hold a few yards of line. You probably won't be fighting fish with the reel! And they add mere ounces to the weight of this great rod.

If you not casting why have that reel , for long pole your really looking for a line holder .

I pitch jigs and cast bobber rigs with my 10 footers....never know when you might need extra line and don't have to change it out as often

Agree that if it's a dipping rod about any reel would work, I use to have Pflueger Presidents on my spider rigging rods until I realized that it was a waste of a good reel and changed them over to cheaper reels.

I got a couple of pflueger spinning reels a couple of years ago really small ones. And they came with two spools. I plan on trying them out on the rear seat rod myself. Figured I could have braid on one spool and floro on the other for line sensitive places. I like having a little room to play one of the NTS fish I catch and need a reel for.

And a small spinning reel on my dock shooter
