    Default Clifford Shanks Memorial Big Crappie Tournament


    All. Two day tournament this year. Sign ups Thursday night and Friday night at the A43 campsite. If you register Thursday night you are covered to weigh in 1 fish Thursday and 1 Friday. If you register Friday you are covered for Saturday. Hopefully the lake and the weather works out this year. See everyone soon. Team Shanks

    (Actually, this is one of the highlights of camp for me, so...thanks for doing it!)

    5th ANNUAL MEMORIAL BIG CRAPPIE CONTEST



    Entry Fee:
    $20.00 per person
    Where:
    Truman Lake @ Spring
    Crappie.com Camp
    When:
    Friday May 3rd, 2019
    Saturday May 4th, 2019

    Weigh In:
    5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
    Bucksaw Camp Site: A043
    Awards:
    Memorial plaque for top two teams in event!



    You can mail a pre-entry to Clifford Shanks Memorial Big Crappie Contest, c/o Chris Shanks, 11820 NE Woodridge Lane, Cameron, MO 64429 or you can stop by campsite A043 and sign-up to support “Blue Skeeter” and the ongoing fight against LLS. You must sign-up by Saturday morning to compete for the plaque. A donation will be made in the name of Clifford Shanks to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and/or to families fighting cancer with the tournament proceeds. The following organizations or families have received funds from the tournament:

    2015: Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – National Level
    2016: Landon Jaros Family – Young man lost his fight with leukemia September 16, 2016 at the age of 4.
    2017: Rose Lowenstein Foundation – Local organization that supports families affected by childhood cancer.
    2018: David and Stephanie Black Family – Their son, Mark, is fighting leukemia like a warrior.

    Entries are per individual not by boat. The largest and second largest crappie by weight will determine the winner!
    Please enter to help support families in need and to share some memories of “Blue Skeeter”!

    What I meant to say was register Thursday for Friday and Saturday. Register Friday for just Saturday!!!
