    Default Trailer Alignment????

One of my tires is almost bald on the outside and the rest is pretty good tread. I figured it needs to be aligned. I hit a tree stump about a year and a half ago and knocked the whole assembly forward. I took all apart and re-bolted everything but now thinking something is still wrong. The other tire is normal wear throughout. Any thoughts on what is wrong, where I should take it (live in Jeff City}, and approximate cost? Thanks in advance........

If it's just one tire it's most likley bent on the end that wore out tire is on. If axle was out of align one tire will wear on inside and other on outside. Jack it up and make sure wheel bearings are tight and not worn out. If that is good I'd plan on replacing the axle. Cheaper to replace than fool with trying to find someone to try and repair.

I agree with Cray on bent axle
    Try etrailer for replacement
I have used them and was happy
Although I had to replace one on my tracker pontoon trailer and had to order from the east coast to get the one that fit it

If it is tracking fine behind tow vehicle and bearings are good I would put my spare on and see if it wears the same before I would invest too much.

That's what I'm going to do before having it looked at to see if it's just not the tire.

A good alignment shop will fix it for less than the cost of an axle.
