Where is Clinton Lake?
I like Clinton. I use to fish the spawn out there a lot at the dam before I had a boat
They should be up in the creeks feeding on shad in Oct if the water temp. doesn't drop to fast. With the weather we have had this year who knows. Water temp was down to 75 to 77 last Friday when I was out. Really hope to see some of you guys from Missouri come over and fish with us. We have a lot of good guys and I'm sure Friday and Saturday evening the BS will get pretty deep around the fire.
Haven't fish Clinton from a boat. We used to ice fish out there and slayed them through the ice.
Might try to make it and meet some of the Kansas bunch.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.skeeter96 LIKED above post
Hoping to see several of you at Clinton the last of OCT. We will have a lot of stuff to give away Saturday evening after supper. Several guys donating lure, jigs, spoons, and other stuff. Slab is sending some stuff from CDC to give away also. Bring your friends and family with you. You will have a great time and some good Kansas hospitality. If your family doesn't fish there is a lot to do around Lawrence, KC and Topeka including a large Cabela's/Bass pro shop. Hope to see ya all there. for more info see the Kansas web sight or contact fishindave or myself

Good news, ACC CRAPPIE STIX has donated a rod to give away at our crappie camp in OCT. Saturday evening we give everyone there a ticket and have a drawing. We will draw for the rod first while everyone has a ticket in the bucket and then draw for all the rest of the prizes. There is no cost for the drawing, all the items are donated. We always have plenty of people bring food so come and have a good time and some great crappie fishing with friends

This sounds great. Not sure if I can make it or not, I have to finish up a few deer mounts before then. But if I don't make it I hope everyone has a great time!
