Thread: Hotels near sunrise beach/ Laurie mo

I will be down around sunrise beach next month and looking for a place to stay. I saw one hotel in Laurie. I seen another right across the lake to the east on the other side of the lake. But to get there it’s still a 20 mile drive to get there. No real big deal just looking for somewhere a little closer. If anyone happens to know somewhere I appreciate any info

The best option might be VBRO or Hero's Vacation Club. HVC is a website designed to fill timeshares at really cheap rates. It's designed for military, teachers, or any other government occupation municipal, state, or federal; however I've never been asked what I do for a living when I book. It's a flat rate for seven days whether you stay all seven or not. I have never used either website for LOZ but have used them before for other places. I have stayed at Silver Sands in Laurie twice and have been pleased. It's not that fancy and it might already be closed for the fall and winter but I don't know. And I just realized you posted this in August but might be good info if you go down again.
