You might try local newspapers, craig's list, elevator or feed store bulletin boards. Had horses several years and very often enjoyed meeting suppliers. Are you looking for cattle or horse hay? Push comes to shove try getting online to lookup the big time suppliers.Hope this might have helped you.Good luck Weldon

Needing hay for cattle. I would take 50-100 anything. We started feeding hay 3 days ago. Our pastures are completely burnt up no grass at all. Our hay fields only put off half as much as normally. We are not the only ones that are looking. I just called a guy in central ARK and I am number 201 on the list. CRAP

    Weldon,
Been watching hay on Craig's list Saint Louis. There are big round bales 1400 pound, good quality, but it is high as a cat's back ($100). Nebraska sells hay online they ship on tractor trailers. Please try looking online.

Ran / trained field trial bird dogs in north central Nebraska not far from Emmett a few years.... They have a signs coming into town "hay capital of the world". They do produce unbelievable quantities of hay and use hay equipment like I had never seen before.Took a bunch of pictures...I see tractor trailers hauling Nebraska hay on interstate around home (40 miles NW of ST.Louis). They favor 3x3x(8?) big square bales to get it compact as possible on trailers. From what I have at least heard their prices are competitive...
