Thread: Troll Perfect

I got a Troll Perfect for my Fortrex and really like it. It's a clamp that tightens over the shaft and essentially acts as your foot pedal tension screw. When tightened to the desired adjustment you can put the trolling motor on auto pilot and the foot pedal wont move when taking your foot off allowing you run a straight line. I got this for trolling cranks so I can reel in a fish without the boat drifting to far off course. Adjusting the Troll Perfect is way faster than messing with the foot pedal screw. For those without a GPS trolling motor this might be a good option.

Just remember when your cable steer trolling motor is on auto pilot the boat aint coming back if you fall out. Might come up with some kind of boat retrieval plan if your by yourself .
