I really had a blast love going to camp. I even got the pleasure of meeting G
It always seems that Mother Nature enjoys reminding us who is actually in charge when crappie camps are planned and this one was no exception. Although it began with rain and the waters continued to rise the whole time, it didn't dampen camp enthusiasm
The festivities ended up being moved to a different campground and some folks at Bucksaw had to switch rooms on Saturday or wade water on the way out Sunday, but it didn't stop the fun. We never did put our boat in the water at Truman, but thanks to JR, we used the ramp below the dam and fished LOZ. Holy cow, yáll have got some gar up there! We did manage to catch quite a few crappie (all dinks) and one good eatin size cat.
We've always said that camp isn't really about the fishing, it's about the fellowship. It's about meeting folks that you've interacted with on c.c and catching up with those friends you've already made. We really are a family and camp is like a family reunion. Paul and I have been to camps in 5 states and hosted a couple here at home and we know how much work it is. Thanks for putting up with the Tennessee branch of the family and we look forward to seeing yáll again. If you come to Reelfoot or Ky Lake we're between the two and will be happy to help if you need anything.
Here are some pics I snapped while we were there. I have to say, the one with Ed, Abby and Sadie is my favorite!

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it

Glad you all made the trip. Hope you come back next year.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.hdhntr LIKED above post
Jane and I were eating supper at the Marina on Thursday nite when I looked up and saw the infamous Bill Bob sitting outside. I told Jane we had to go out and get acquainted. Upon walking to the outside tables I found myself in with C.C royalty. There was Bill Bob, Slab, Tom Tom and Mary and Vonna and Paul[ Mr. and Mrs CrappieStalker.} Never have Jane and I been made to feel so at home in such a short time. This was our first but not our last camp. The next two days with all the folks from all over was great. The Mo. group did a spectacular job having to move the get together area due to flooding. This could have been a bust but through their great effort it came off without a hitch. It will be hard for anyone following these great folks. Thanks for a great weekend. Bo and Jane

great group of people, made new friends, wish we could have had more conversations with even more members and their wives but since we were so far away at bucksaw, it was what it was. After having moved whole dang operation to higher ground I thought it was just great way it was and how everyone just pitches in to getrdone! what a wonderful group to be part of. Thanks to all who organized this and to Slab, Billbob, G and to those who came so far to attend. Loved it!
