2nd Annual Blue Skeeter Memorial Big Crappie Contest - Friday April 29th
-CLIFFORD SHANKS MEMORIAL SECOND ANNUAL BIG CRAPPIE CONTEST-
Hard to believe that we can call this the 2nd Annual this year! Dad has been gone now only about 16 months and there is still a huge hole in our hearts. What a better way to honor the big fellow than to once again fish in his name! Please join us (Tim and Chris-Cliff's two son's, Caleb-Cliff's oldest grandson, Eddie-Cliff's brother, and Harold-Dad's best buddy) as we fish to honor our Dad, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend!
This year's tournament will be on Friday April 29th. This year Tim and I will have custom plaques and/or a trophy for first and second place winners. For a small $20.00 entry fee per person or $40.00 per boat you can make a difference! Over 1,658,000 Leukemia cases are diagnosed yearly in the United States! All proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in the name of Clifford Shanks. You can mail a pre-entry to Clifford Shanks Memorial Big Crappie Contest, c/o Chris Shanks, 11820 NE Woodridge Lane, Cameron, MO 64429 (make checks out to Chris Shanks) or you can stop by campsite A043 Thursday evening after dark and sign-up to support “Blue Skeeter” and the ongoing fight against LLS. Please join us to help support LLS and share some memories of “Blue Skeeter”!

Glad you are going to make it happen again this year. Love the second picture of our favorite big guy and his buddy Harold. I could have taken a picture that looked like that several times as I idled past Cliffs "honey hole". They were there every year at camp and almost always caught fish from that creek.
