Thread: Spring Gathering - MTL

How about a summer get away to Wisconsin?

Either one sounds good to me! What are you fellas thinking?

Maybe I should have just titled it "MTL Gathering" because I really like the idea of a summer gathering........ seems as though the lake (generally) is a lot less volatile than trying to peg a time in the spring where it's stable.

There are a few good crappie lakes within 1-2 hours of me but if I had to choose right now it would be Lake Winnebago. Not only do guys catch crappie when pulling cranks, the walleye population is incredible. Certainly an option.

My preference is to get back to Twain and spend some time at the cabin, but I'm only one voice.

I have a fishing trip to Tablerock the last week of April and headed to Florida from July 20 -30. Other than that I am open.

whenever it works out for everyone is good with me. I'd be fine with a spring and a summer camp this year.

I think that Robbie should just pick a date that he can make it and we will work around it since he has the longest drive.

Don't worry about me, it's an easy 6 hour drive from WI --> MO! Leave @ 11:00 P.M. and roll in at 5:00 A.M......... shower, coffee and FEESH!

I'm more concerned about the fish than my situation... not to mention I am much more flexible than Mrs. MTL!

Bet you will see me and a couple of others once a date is selected. I am good with a ten day forcast water and weather cooperation seems to be out most formidable foe. Looking forward to it keep us updated.
