    Default Spring camp/Fall camp


    NOT looking to start any pizzin matches here, just a thought. With the weather at spring camp almost always hit or miss and the relatively low turn-out for fall camps, would it be better to have ONE camp in say, late May early June when the weather has stabalized (and hopefully the fishing as well) If it WERE in that time frame maybe there would be more family participation with the kids out or close to being out of school. Please don't take my comments wrong, there is NOTHING wrong with the present set-up just thinking of an alternative to allow for more participation. Thoughts???

    I hadn't thought about moving spring camp but have thought more people may be able to make an earlier fall camp. It's impossible to find a time that works for everyone.

    Vic, Keefer, calm down. IF you read the ENTIRE post it said "NOTHING wrong with present set-up" it was just a thought. Go back to sleep now.

    I like the first week of May. But am fine with whatever is decided. The weather is what it is and the fishing is also. I come more for the fellowship and getting to see people I don't get to see the rest of the year.
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
