Wink Bad Day Shopping @ Bass Pro.

Crummy weather, hard water-couldn't take it anymore. Leaving for Texas Thursday, went to Bass Pro to stock up on stuff today. Sale, Sale, Sale--Spend, Spend, Spend. When this spend thrift fool left-BPS called for help.

We were there last night. Shopping and dinner that didn't make me want a nap. Scored some good sale items.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

Did you leave enough change to buy gas for the trip?

I took advantage of the sales and bought a Crappie Maxx pole and reel, line and lures. I enjoyed the peace until I started to hear kids cry and parents that could control their kids.

Thanks Monte, can't take this Missouri March weather anymore. Dammed hard water for 3 months now. Sleet on my windows and wind all night in Blue Springs. Snowing today. Boat loaded, truck gassed. Soon as this crap stops I am gonna shovel my way out-Texas bound. Aint gonna come back till neighbors call and complain my yard needs mowed or the bite is on @ Truman.

Thanks for Heads Up Speck. Watchin weather, long range forecast after Wednesday looks GREAT. Headed to Bullard Texas, friend lives on Palestine. Lake level today .54 high. Water temp 49, that's right--WATER. Texas lakes are hard on boats. Runnin Lowrance HDS with High Def card--Hope I'll be OK. Most lakes are low and hazardous. Hooked up with local retiree, knows the area well. Lookin for a better place to hang my hat next time I retire. Hard water and taxes gonna push me outta Missouri.
