Default Twain Camp - Spring or Summer?

Piggybacking off of our friends to the South (Truman) and the first mention of their 2014 camp......any thoughts or preferences? I know after talking to Catman he would prefer a Spring camp, but let's get some chatter!

Bout time to roll up the calls, decoys and guns!

My vote is for spring, but I think some of the guys that attended last year also attend the truman gathering. so I guess my vote is neutral and I'll just go with the flow. thanks for getting a thread going, Robbie! can't wait

Depending on dates I might drive up for it. Have never been on Twain so you fellers will have to point me in the right direction
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    Greg,

I'm thinking Spring might be the way to go. Based on past years, I really like that weekend that Truman is scheduled.... usually you can find fish in all patterns (pre, active and even post spawn) and we are generally picking some mushrooms around that time at our place. As I've mentioned in the past I host a smaller "camp" with some friends and it would be fun to mash it all together! I know my dad and I will be taking 4-5 days for the festivities.

I guess my vote is Spring and for the weekend of May 3/4 or May 17/18.

    Hogster,

You're more than welcome! Only catch (no pun intended) is that you reciprocate when we roll down to LOZ!

Personally I would prefer Spring but will try to go whenever it is.
