    Default ABT's

    Atomic Buffalo Turds -
Simple but labor intensive. Worth it though.

    Atomic Buffalo Turds

    24 jalapenos, larger is good
You can cut the tops off and remove the seeds & ribs or you can cut the tops off and cut the peppers lengthwise, remove the seeds & ribs (Unless you like a lot of heat, then leave the seeds & ribs in )
Either way works. Have PLENTY ventilation!

2 tubs chive & onion cream cheese
Couple good handfuls of shredded cheddar
2 Tablespoons BBQ rub. I use Cowtown General Purpose Rub, see what your local store has

Mix the cream cheese, cheddar & rub well and fill the jalapenos with the mix. (I use a "Jerky Shooter" to fill the ones I leave whole with the tops cut off)
Any mix left over eats nice on crackers.
Wrap each one with half a slice of thin bacon and use a toothpick to secure it, may need more than one. I use thin sliced bacon so it gets done faster.
I smoke these with hickory and the smoker running about 250°F, they take an hour or two, just have to look at them now & then to see how they are doing. Generally, if the bacon is done they are done.
And you are required to have a cold beer at all times while watching a smoker. :D
Or, you can do them on a grill or in an oven.

    ENJOY!

I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Here is the Mushpuppy recipe from our new Southeast MO friends.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 can campbells cream of mushroom soup
    1 sleeve saltine crackers

put cracker in zip lock bag and crush them up real fine
    then add soup
    mix together in a bowl

then use teaspoon to form them just like hushpuppy's
drop in fryer of grease until golden brown
    then enjoy!!!!

CAUTION THEY WILL VERY HOT AND SOMETIMES HOLD A LITTLE GREASE SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO WAIT A MIN. OR TWO BEFORE EATING.

    Baked Beans.......mama's recipe.

Fill 10" x 14" (approx) cake pan about half full of campbells pork & beans.
add double handfull diced white onions.
add one half medium bottle ketchup.
add one half bottle White Karo syrup.....then stir all....
layer entire top with Bryans hickory smoked bacon.

cook at 300 deg for about 2 hours......then set oven to broil so as to make the bacon crispy on top...

add bar B que, tater salad and grandkids......don't get any better.

also got a "sweet potato pie" (light and fluffy) and "Pumkin Bread" recipe (excellent at Christmas) that will knock your socks off if anyone interested.....
