My name is Tom and I am addicted to crappie fishing and this website.:D

My wife (Gwen) and I have 4 kids, 2 boys, 2 girls. 2 are grown and one lives in Texas with her husband and our grandson. One lives in San Diego right now and is in the navy; he and his wife are expecting their first February 29th. The other 2 still live at home and the 15 year old fishes with me most of the time. The youngest is 6 and she loves to swim and fish if they are biting.

I fish Stockton mostly but also fish Table Rock, Grand Lake, and in the Gulf of Mexico. This year I plan to try Truman and Eufaula as well as Lake Fork when we visit our Daughter. They just move and now live 10 miles from a boat ramp. I have a Pro Craft 215 white with gold stripe, 225 Merc.

My name is David, wife is Patty. Two stepkids and one beautiful granddaughter (age 3, lifetime catch:19 sunfish). I was born/raised in Iowa to MO boy and IA girl. Dad moved back to MO in the '80's and we started making twice yearly trips to Table Rock & Taneycomo. Retired as director of history museum in Iowa 3 yrs ago and bought a place on Table Rock near Virgin Bluff. I work part-time at the Titanic Museum in Branson and wife is full-time ICU heart nurse. I spend my time rebuilding old boats ('64 Boston Whaler, '81 Lowe pontoon, & ready to start on '69 Starcraft Chieftain) and searching for the elusive TR crappie. "Tate" is my beagle fishing companion.

My name is Kerry(41), wife is Dee. Live just north of the Joplin Airport on 96. We've been married 23 years. Got one boy (20). I write software to support our fishing habit.

I don't post much, but lurk every day to see what everyone is up to.

We fish for crappie on Stockton, bushwacker, and the conservation lakes in the southwest. Been using a flyrod a lot lately to fish the shallows.

When we can't crappie fish, we chase trout on Tanneycomo and Beaver tailwaters.

I’m Michael and most of my crappie fish’n is at MTL. Love to fish Truman when I can and enjoy trying new spots all the time. Don’t get on the puter much so that’s why I have so few posts. Been spending a lot of time these last 2 years on the rivers and of course gotta bring the crappie rod to check out perspective spots that might hold the elusive river crappie. Think we’re all wait’n for the ice to clear right now on the lakes. Tight lines to all. Michael

I'm Josh, 26 from Columbia. My wife is Kristin. I run my own small electrical business and play semi professional poker. We're expecting our first child, a boy on March 13th. We fish out of a 17' Sea Nymph fishing machine with a 70 hp merc. Fish MTL throughout the year along with Truman and LOZ. Looking forward to meeting some of you on the water. Will have a crappie.com decal on my motor soon.

My name is Jared Fosnow 32 years old. Happily married with 3 wonderful kids. Jigging 15 came from a freind because I don't use live bait. And always give him heck when he does. 15 being for a limit of slabs here in Missouri. I work as a Flexographic Press Operator and trainer at a large print shop in Clinton,Mo. I mainly fish Truman Lake and have been for 20+ years. I use to fish 10 to 15 Bass tournaments a year on Truman. Then as MR. Baker also stated it became work. I do still fish a few charity bass tournaments such as Shriners and the spinal cord society. I lost a wife to to a tumor of the upper spinal cord. So I am kind of partial to that tournament. But everything else is crappie. Was fishing out of a 18 1/2 ft. Champion recently sold it. May go to an alum. boat this year. Look forward to meeting more of you guys and gals.

I'm Jack and live outside of Avilla, Mo. I'm 66 yr. young and retired. I drove truck for 15 years then retired from ICI explosives after 25 years when they moved it to Mexico!! I have two adult children and 9 grandkids. I have a 16 ft. riveted V bottom aluminum boat named "Titantic". Buzzmo says 1 hour fishing, 1 hour bailing (with empty beer cans) keeps us busy so we usually use his boat. Buzzmo uses a 10 ft. rod, my favorite is my snoopy rod.

My husband and I are avid crappie fishers, we fish Truman mainly, but have been in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas too. My name is Jeanne and my husband is Dave. We fish as much as our schedule lets us. He drives for a living, and I work in a hospital. Everyone where I work knows I am an avid fisher, and will go fishing any time I can. We have a tournament v-18(Tracker) and love it. We just love being outside, on the lake, it makes any day better, even if the fishing is slow. I was very excited when I found Crappie.com, it is so nice to at least read all of the postings by everyone, that is one of the reasons I like fishing, it is almost always enjoyed by good people. We are very devoted Mizzou fans, being an alumnus, and college football is one of my loves.

We live in the Blue Springs area,KC suburb, have been together for 27 years this month. We have 3 grown children and now have a lot more time to fish!!
    NICE TO MEET YOU ALL.
smile, people always wonder what you are up to
