    Heard from some of my sources that a few folks were ketchn limits at o ne of my home lakes. Had a windows where nothing being repaired on my damaged home for this week so had to go find out

    Couple guys were on my favorite spot but they knew me so settled in next to me and started ketchn from first cast. These 2 were minnow boys all the way and they were ketchn at a good pace and already were getting close to limits.

    I had white 16th hair jig w red head and caught a fewbut not like they were.

    Decided to switch to pink/blue/chartreuse w 16th red head a d KABOOM it was GO TIME!

    picked up several quickly. Then granpa and his boy left. Of course I know this spit and wh
    ere they had been ketchn so really picked up some nice ones. They were deep into pike and several I hooked and then let them find there way out.

    Had ny limit 12 to 8.5 inches. In a perfect cool day to fish w two nice guys. Now off to cut the grass!

    was just the beginning of a great 3 day trip with perfect weather and bite was STRONG! so many great interactions with old and new friends.
